A half day usually means one estate, so the estate matters. This one takes you to a Grand Cru Classé. That is a rank in Saint-Émilion's own classification, which the wine council redraws every ten years; the 2022 edition lists 85 châteaux, 71 of them at this rank. You meet at the Monument aux Girondins, the fountain and column built from 1894 to 1902 on Place des Quinconces in central Bordeaux.
